Free Radial Bearings With Purchase of Fortune Auto Coilovers

Fortune Auto is running a promotion from 10/23 to 11/3 which includes $125 worth of goodies when you order a set of their coil overs. The promotion if for a free set of radial bearing mounts and locking spring perches. If you no idea what either of those are, don’t worry, we will explain in just a moment.

Typically on top of a coil over is a rubber bushing. The bushing allows for the necessary movement and rotation of the coil over in a McPherson configuration. The problem with the rubber bushing is how it can load up when force is applied to it. This can make movement hard and can transfer unnecessary road noise into the cab of the vehicle. The radial bearing fixes this issue by allowing the camber plate and piston shaft to rotate separately from the coilover assembly.

The locking spring perch eliminates the need for a locking ring to lock to the spring perch in place. This allows more a little bit more height adjustment on some vehicles with a McPherson design. This design is also less likely to come loose which can cause a major disaster, especially when you’re at the race track.
