HMF Racing has just announced the availability of its new Titan Stainless Steel Slip-On Exhaust for the Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000. It is also available in a Gun Metal or Black Out variety. The Titan is a highly durable stainless steel system specifically engineered to withstand extreme temperatures, increase torque and horsepower, and improve the overall exhaust note. Virtually the entire system is built from 304 stainless steel; it doesn’t readily corrode, rust, or stain and it can reliably stand up against the high temperatures associated with high-performance offroad vehicles.

HMF’s slip-on exhaust systems are by far the most popular, easiest, and simplest to install. They are specifically designed to be a direct replacement for your Kawasaki’s original silencer. Typically, it will be a one-piece silencer with an inlet that matches up to your vehicle’s original headpipe(s). Some of HMF’s slip-on systems can feature a dual setup depending on the machine.

The Titan Slip-On for the KRX 1000 sheds a significant amount of weight from the exhaust system. At the same time, it adds HMF’s signature sound and performance to an already well-built engine and chassis. During the development process, HMF Racing’s R&D team found that the stock head pipe from Kawasaki was very well designed and paired seamlessly with the Titan HMF silencer eliminating the need for a full system.

In the case of HMF Racing’s Titan Slip-On Exhaust for the Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000, the single 5-inch stainless steel silencer picks up 5 ponies and 3 pound-feet of torque for both the Titan XL (loud) and Titan QS (quiet) systems together with proper tuning. The stock silencer weighs in at 26.5 pounds, while the HMF system with brackets weighs in at less than 10 pounds, saving more than 15 pounds of weight with just a slip-on system.

Features:

  • +5 hp / +3 ft-lbs of torque
  • Stock Sound: 74 dB (idle) / 86 dB (3500 rpm)
  • Titan QS Sound: 85 dB (idle) / 96 dB (3500 rpm)
  • Titan XL Sound: 88 dB (idle) / 100 dB (3500 rpm)

Note:

  • Fuel Tuning is absolutely required when installing an HMF Exhaust on this machine. Failure to tune the engine can cause excessive damage to the exhaust system and engine, while voiding the warranty on your exhaust and possibly on your machine.
