So lets talk about these Top Exhausts for the Honda Civic Type-R by us here at Vivid Racing.
First up is the AWE Exhaust Systems Touring Edition with Diamond Black Tips or Chrome Silver Tips for FL5. This is a full 3 inch catback system that has been dyno proven to 14 hp and 13 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels with a stock downpipe. The Touring Edition saves about 4.5lbs over the stock exhaust and comes with a lifetime warranty.

Next we have Track Edition with Diamond Black Tips or Chrome Tips for the FL5. This is more of a straight through race exhaust for those wanting some serious sound and performance. The full 3 inch exhaust bolts to the factory downpipe. It saves 14lbs over the stock system and produces 14hp and 13 ft-lbs of torque with the stock downpipe.

Up next is our very own VRP Titanium Valvetronic Catback Exhaust for the FL5. The titanium exhaust is very lightweight and stylish. The exhaust bolts to the stock downpipe and is a full 3 inch construction. The exhaust the electric valve to go between quiet and race modes by changing the path of the exhaust flow to straight out the center. This exhaust saves nearly 30lbs of weight over the stock system. Both the FL5 and FK8 exhaust from VRP produce about 15 wheel horsepower.

We also have this Valvetronic Titanium Catback for the FK8. With the same 2.0L Turbo as the FL5, the FK8 exhaust has the same weight and performance. There is slightly different fitment because of the chassis, but this full titanium exhaust with valvetronic design is a perfect upgrade for the Civic Type-R.

Straight from Japan is this iconic APEXi Evolution Extreme Catback Exhaust for the FK8. The ApexI system goes with a large dual titanium tip exit out the rear of the car. The tip diameter is 123mm while the full catback piping is 75mm. The exhaust is stainless steel to produce a great sound from their patented Megaphone piping structure.

We also have this version of the Catback Exhaust for the FL5. Again this is a stainless steel system with large dual titanium tips for the exit. The larger side features a valve to control the quiet to loud operation of the 2.0L turbo.

Next up is the Japanese Company Fujitsubo ARMC Catback Exhaust for the FL5. This exhaust features twin 118mm exhaust tips in carbon fiber and a full titanium construction that is 70mm. The unique muffler chambers give the exhaust a great sound when the valve is closed but screams from the 2.0T engine when its open.

From Austria is one of the top tier aftermarket and OEM exhaust manufactures, Remus. They have their Racing Sport Exhaust for the FL5 that is available with or without tips. The exhaust muffler is a very traditional European style as a catback exhaust. The full 3 inch system bolts to the stock downpipe and is made from 100% stainless steel. The exhaust features a valve to switch between quiet and race modes where the internal muffler chamber does all the work to deliver a premium sound.
