He opted for a set of 18s (18×9.5 +45) in a stunning and durable matte black finish that pairs effortlessly with the Sonic Gray Pearl exterior. The VR Forged D03-R wheel features a complete one-piece monoblock construction that is both ultra-lightweight and strong. The design of this wheel is similar to the D03 wheel but with a motorsports-inspired machined ring around the outer edge. The machine work at the center of the wheel is intricate and the outside ring is visually stunning to elevate the overall appeal of your vehicle.
And the D03-R performs just as well as it looks, if not better. Manufactured using a 10,000-ton press, these wheels hold up incredibly well against the elements of both daily and more spirited driving. This wheel is perfectly matched to any “tuner” style vehicle such as the Type R. Each individual wheel weighs in at just 9.9 kilograms (21.8 pounds) and has a load rating of up to 690 kilograms (1521 pounds). The recommended tire fitment for this type of setup is 255/35/18.
