As side by sides become more powerful with more suspension travel, the speed that can be achieved in the desert has increased dramatically. This massive increase in speed has increased the need for proper windshields. Of course, simply wearing goggles will protect your eyes, but that will still leave your neck and chest unprotected. If you’re following another RZR, a rock could get kicked up, and that would hurt pretty bad if it hit you in the chest. One of the biggest problems with most aftermarket windshields for the RZR is the installation process. Luckily, Axiom Side by Side recognized this problem and developed a solution to it with their new RZR windshield.
Axiom’s mounting solution does not involve any drilling or custom work, just large UV-resistant cable ties; this allows the windshield to be installed in minutes instead of hours like the other windshields on the market. Helping prevent any rattles or excessive wear is a rubber gasket between the cage and the windshield. The entire thing is powder coated black for a tough and long-lasting finish. If you end up wanting some airflow into the cabin of your RZR, you can quickly open the flaps on the bottom of the windshield to let air flow through.
