The new FK8 Civic Type R is one of the best hatchbacks to ever exist. Its K20C1 engine makes a ton of horsepower and torque while providing a very wide power band. The FK7 Civic Hatchback Sport is also a great car, but its L15 engine is nearly as amazing as the Type R’s engine. As enthusiasts, we always want more. FK8 Supreme SP
For the FK8, GReddy paid careful attention to both the sound and performance of this new exhaust. They used a 3” mandrel-bent design which has been smoothed out compared to the stock exhaust for maximum performance. According to GReddy, the Supreme SP for the FK8 netted just 88dba during their standardized rev test. This is a great balance between too much sound and too little sound. During their testing, they gained an impressive 16whp. The tips are nice and big at 4.5” each which fulls up the bumper cutout really well. The entire system is made of hand-welded 304 stainless-steel with a limited lifetime warranty so you won’t have to worry about it breaking.

FK7 Supreme SP
For the FK7, GReddy used a similar design to the FK8’s Supreme SP system, but with some slight modifications which bring the price down. They used a 3” mandrel-bent design which was smoothed out and optimized compared to the stock system which results in much better exhaust flow. The muffler is a single entry, dual outlet, oval style SP muffler and it does a great job at filling in the factory bumper cutout. Just like with all Supreme SP systems, this one uses fully hand-welded 304 stainless-steel design with a limited lifetime warranty.
