In entirely stock form, the MK7 GTI’s 220 horsepower is a little underwhelming. Granted, it’s a hot-hatch and not a supercar, but the fact of the matter is it could benefit from some extra power. Thanks to Volkswagen’s use of large turbochargers (compared to the competitions turbochargers), the MK7 GTI loves bolt on modifications such as an intake or exhaust. This is where Injen comes in with their new catback for the MK7 GTI.
With 3” piping throughout, you’ll see performance gains of up to 14 horsepower and 18 ft-lbs. The tubing is made from Stainless Steel to keep the cost down, plus it’s extra resistant to corrosion. The system is 100% tig-welded for extra strength. All the way out back are two 4” stainless steel polished tips.
