It’s no secret that many enthusiasts love the Focus ST and Fiesta ST. Ford did a good job creating fun to drive hatchback that can outrun much more expensive cars in the canyons. One of the best ways to improve the experience of driving your car is to add an exhaust system. Not only will you gain some horsepower and torque, but the added sound adds a whole new dynamic to the experience of driving. Invidia has just released their new downpipes and catback exhausts for the Focus ST, and they are sure to be a hit.

The new downpipe will be available in both catted and non-catted versions. Non-catted will ultimately make more power by having the least restriction, but you won’t be able to pass emissions if your car is tested on a rolling road. You’ll also have to deal with the engine light being on unless your tune can get rid of that. For most street cars, the catted version will be perfect, as you will still pass emissions but with the benefits of an aftermarket downpipe. With more power, more sound, and much-improved throttle response, the Invidia downpipe is an excellent addition to any Focus ST.

The new catbacks are available in two versions: N1 and Q300. They both use 76mm piping with burnt titanium tips. The biggest difference between these two exhausts are the mufflers which use different designs. The N1 system has a very aggressive tone and might be a little too loud for some people. The Q300 is also aggressive sounding but is toned down compared to the N1 which makes it more appealing for someone who doesn’t want a super loud exhaust.
