How Sto N Sho Works – Video Explanation

As you may know, many places in the US and all over the world require you to have two license plates: one for the front of the vehicle and one for the back. This does have its benefits, as it helps police identify vehicles faster, potentially recovering stolen vehicles or tracking someone down, but front plates are pretty ugly. For this reason, a lot of enthusiasts are looking for an easy way to mount their front plate in a manner that not only looks good but it easily removable for car shows. This is where Sto N Sho comes in with their mounting solution, which is available for a wide array of different types of vehicles.

Most front plate mounting systems require the front bumper to have holes drilled into it so that a bracket can be mounted directly on the bumper. No one wants to put holes in the perfectly good bumper, so Sto N Sho developed a way for the bracket to be mounted on the bottom of the bumper. This works by using a two-piece bracket. One piece mounts to the bottom of the bumper where it can’t be seen, and another piece mounts to the plate. These two pieces slide together and lock into place using a pin, which means you can quickly and easily remove it by simply pulling the pin and sliding the bracket off.

With this mounting solution, your plate is mounted low and won’t block airflow to the radiator, plus it can quickly be removed for car shows. Of course, this solution has also been designed for an off-road vehicle where often a winch is mounted to the bumper, and you don’t want to block it with your plate. Thanks to the two-piece design, Sto N Sho also developed a GoPro mounting bracket and means you won’t have to fiddle around with weak suction cup mounts. Just slide the bracket into place, lock it in with the pin, and start recording.
