Although the C7 ZR1 represents the peak of GM performance vehicles, tuners have not been able to crack the ECU for the purpose of tuning, until now. HP Tuners figured out how to tune the C7 ZR1, opening a world of possibilities for tuning. It was said to be impossible, but now the ZR1 is easily tunable through the OBDII port.
The OBDII tool allows you to connect a PC to your ZR1, which allows you to read and write the ECU. By reading and writing, any kind of tuning is possible. If you don’t feel comfortable tuning your ZR1 by yourself, this system allows any qualified tuning shop to do it for you.
There is no tuning included with the purchase of this tuning tool, and you’ll need a modified ECM for the tuning process. A modified ECM can be purchased outright or you can send in your OEM ECM to be modified by HP Tuners.
