The All new Civic Type R gets some High Performance Shoes from HRE Wheels
The Honda Civic Type R has created quite the buzz lately in the automotive industry. This is the first Honda (Not including Acura) vehicle to bear the Type R badge on this side of the pond. This new vehicle has tons of power, great options and a race inspired heritage. This vehicle is meant to compete with the best from Ford, Subaru and Mitsubishi. Even though this new vehicle has a Front Wheel Drive layout, it still makes remarkable lap times and handles it’s own on the track.
HRE has recently announced that they have confirmed their Flow Form fitment for this new model. The stock Civic Type R came with either 19″ wheels or an optional 20″ sizing. Their current line of Flow Form wheels in 19×9.5 ET 42 and 20×9.5 ET 42 fit this new chassis perfectly. Not only do these improve the looks of the vehicle, they are 6lbs lighter per corner in 19″ sizes.
With these lighter wheels installed there have been no issues with Torque Steer at all**
