The Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango have the well known 3.6L V6 under the hood. This engine is known for being a workhorse as it is in many Mopar manufactured vehicles. One thing that could have been improved is the intake system for the SUVs. With the factory intake system restricting a ton of airflow it is preventing the true power to be unlocked.

Injen has engineered an intake from the PF series to finally let the 3.6L take a full breath for once. Increasing the diameter of the tubing significantly improves performance while enhancing the throaty sound from this engine. To maximize airflow, Injen utilized its SuperNano-Web Dry filter technology.

Being that the intake design minimizes bends and curves for a smooth flow of air without restrictions. Since this engine uses a MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor, the intake is able to be a short ram routed to the driver fender well for cold air. Most intake designs are limited in length or configuration on vehicles that use a MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor due to the precise placement of the airflow meter.

With the SuperNano-Web Dry filter, it makes for easy cleaning without the need to purchase extra cleaning products. The intake is constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum and offered in a polished finish or a factory looking texture black. Showing its true potential this intake put down an extra 17 HP and 17 Lbs/ft of torque.
