Introducing Agency Power Cold Air Intake for 2015+ Subaru WRX STI

Although the 2015+ Subaru WRX STI is pretty powerful straight from the factory, outputting around 305 horsepower, it’s not quite enough for some enthusiasts. Sure, the STI was once an absolute monster on the streets, but today 305 horsepower isn’t all that special. Thanks to the turbocharged nature of the STI, simple modifications often have excellent gains compared to cars that are naturally aspirated. By allowing more cold air to reach the turbocharged, more air can be compressed which results in more power.

By utilizing a roto-molded intake tube instead of a metal tube, intake air temperatures remain lower, especially compared to other aftermarket intakes for the STI. Keeping the hot air under the hood from being used by the intake is a heat shield. Many aftermarket intakes lack a proper heat shield and end up using hot air from inside the engine bay. By using hot air, you end up with higher charge air temperatures which results in less dense air which means less power. Plus, hot air is more likely to cause detonation which is very bad for your engine.

  • Gains of up to 26whp and 34wtq
  • Built from lightweight Roto-molded Plastic
  • Designed to be an OEM replacement
  • Awesome turbo sounds
  • Easy to install
  • Works with factory tune
  • Improved throttle response

As we tested on our in-house dyno, the Agency Power intake for the STI added around 26whp and 34wtq throughout the curve. Most importantly, there are great low-end torque gains which will make your STI way more fun on the street. The tests were performed two hours apart with almost no change in the weather. By testing back to back as we did, we can get the most accurate ratings. With a tune and/or other modifications, you can expect to see even larger power gains.

If you have any questions about Agency Power Intake for 2015+ Subaru STI or would like to purchase parts for your car, please do not hesitate to contact us. We can be reached by phone at 1.480.966.3040 or via email at [email protected].
