In the world of performance BMWs, few names are as large as Dinan. Their existing Dinantronics Elite has been a popular tuning option for a while, and Dinan has improved upon it with the new release of the Elite V2! The goal behind the V2 is to improve reliability, reduce cost, and improve power output, all without sacrificing any quality. As with any piggyback tuner, the idea is to feed the ECU slightly altered information. The result is slightly more aggressive ignition timing, air/fuel ratios, boost levels, and more.
Gains are dependent on the specific vehicle, but gains generally range from 35 horsepower up to 60 horsepower. Unlike some other tuners on the market, these power gains can be found almost anywhere in the rev range, resulting in a much-improved driving experience.
