One of the best things about driving around in the desert with a UTV is blasting music with your friends. Unfortunately, many UTVs don’t come with a stereo or don’t come with a good one. For this reason, the UTV stereo market is huge and companies are constantly trying to innovate and bring better products to market. One of those companies, SSV Works, has just released their new cage mounts speaker pods which have a unique dual clamping system that allows for 360-degree rotation. Unlike “water-board” towers, these sound pods are designed to provide superior sound to all the passengers inside the UTV without blocking any visibility.
When ordering these speakers, there are a couple of options to choose from. They are available with SSV 6.5” Powersports speakers or Kicker KM Series speakers. Both of these speakers are pretty good, coming in around $350 and $430 respectively. If there is a different brand 6.5” speaker you want to use, you can order the speaker pods unloaded for $250. That pricing includes the unique dual clamp mounts. The pods themselves are finished in a black texture and can be custom painted to match the color scheme or your UTV, or whatever color scheme you like.
