Introducing the New Project Porsche 997.2 Turbo S

In 2005 VR’s game plan started on a path that has taken us to a level we could never picture today.  At the ripe age of 26 years old, we had our first Porsche.  The 996 Carrera was pretty amazing as we supercharged it, ran it on Gumball 3000, and then graduated it.  Next up was our 996 Turbo.  Stylish, powerful, and we really started our product development here with Agency Power.  Years later we aquired the Porsche 997 Turbo.  This gave us name recognition and identity with its matte blue wrap, HRE wheels, and crazy Vorsteiner aero kit.

So why this car as it looks like the old one?  For those reading this not familar with the differences, in 2010 Porsche went to a 3.8L Direct Fuel Injected engine amongst other minor changes.  Available in 6spd, they also enhanced the Tiptronic transmission to a 7spd dual clutch called PDK.  Little engineering details were done such as hydraulic computer controlled engine mounts, improved to a touch screen navigation unit with i-pod and bluetooth, and even made centerlock wheels not just something for race cars.  So why again?  Well there is differences in the air intake, Y-pipe, TB/Plenum, headers, exhaust, and some other little performance products.  So this is where we jump in… again. Having R&D’d products from a customers 2010 997.2TT and worked with VRTuned to get top 60-130mph and 0-60mph numbers on one of the first 997.2 Turbo cars, we simply have not gotten recognition like we did with the 997 Turbo.

Now we are here…  We introduce the Vivid Racing Project 997.2 Turbo S.  The white 911 features PCCB (Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes), centerlock BBS wheels, PDK transmission, GT2RS carbon fiber seats, PASM (Porsche Active Stability Management), and more fine details.  Why get a Turbo when you can get the Turbo S!  30 more horsepower from Porsche, carbon fiber airbox, launch control, are just a couple fun add-ons.

So sit back, tune in, and get ready for modification pictures, videos, PBox times, and innovations as we begin our next Porsche journey!
