Vivid Racing is known for it’s presence in the tuner car scene but, we have a passion for offroad racing too. Whether 2 wheels or 4 wheels, everyone likes to get dirty sometimes. Jeepspeed holds its own clout within the offroad racing world. Competing in events such as the Mint 400, coming up in Nevada, Jeepspeed does it big. One of the reasons we appreciate Jeepspeed, is because they have their own versions of Project cars that they build up.
Competitors, much like their Trophy Truck counterparts, design and build these Jeep or Dodge vehicles to a whole new level for competition. Big shocks, big wheels, roll cages, and tons of safety equipment. Our family friend competes in the Jeepspeed program with this Cherokee that has been heavily modified. If you have ever been to a offroad event or made the trek to Glamis, you will know that these guys spend dough! With safety as a crucial factor, we decided to hook him up with a set of Status Racing 6 point FIA approved harnesses, to keep him secure. With suspension seats as the norm in offroad racing, many racers are switching to fixed buckets. So maybe we will do a offroad version of the Status Ring seat!
