As you probably know, the FK8 Civic Type R the most powerful front-wheel-drive production car ever and has a phenomenal chassis, but there is always room for improvement. Many factory components are heavy and hold the engine back. If you want to shed some weight off your CTR, add power, and add great sound, then a quality exhaust system has your name on it. A few manufacturers have released their FK8 CTR exhaust systems, and now J’s Racing has as well. There is one major thing that separates the J’s Racing exhaust from the rest: The lightweight design.
J’s Racing made their exhaust extremely lightweight by using premium materials, but also by designing it with thin-walled piping, as few silencers/mufflers/resonators as possible, and by keeping the overall design as light as possible. When we say thin-walled piping, we mean thin, 1mm thick to be exact. The material is titanium alloy, and when combined with such a thin design, the result is the light FK8 CTR exhaust on the market. Because of the lightweight and loud nature of this exhaust, it is not approved for road use.
