Kelford has also incorporated a small rib around the bottom of the reinforced skirt to provide more rigidity and reduce deformation, as well as increase the lifespan of both the cam and the bucket. And, most obviously, the DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating on the face of the followers minimizes friction for longevity and reduced oil temperatures. The coating also reduces wear and improves the amount of torque required to turn the camshafts. This is the ultimate game-changer and your engine will thank you for it!
