The new Chrysler LX/LD 5.7L Hemi Super Street Series header application stays true to Kooks DNA as being one of the highest quality and highest performing products on the market. Like other Kooks products, these headers are expertly crafted from 304-grade stainless steel with 3/8-inch thick flanges and heavy-duty 16-gauge primary tubes that measure 1-7/8 inches. These headers also feature Kooks patented scavenging spikes and one-piece collectors. The 3/8-inch thick, two-bolt flanges and formed balls connect to the OEM catalytic converters, allowing for a direct bolt-on install. What’s more, the kit includes all the necessary hardware and required gaskets for a seamless installation.
With the Super Street Series Headers equipped on the 5.7L Hemi engine, the dyno results show gains in both horsepower and torque figures without any tuning. The dyno graph presented an increase of 19 horsepower and 23 pound-feet of torque over the stock manifolds when measured at the wheel. (Note: Performance gains may vary depending on tuning and other performance mods.)
