Vivid Racing just hooked up this local Arizona owner of a Porsche 996 Turbo Cab with some KW Variant 3 coilovers and a H&R rear sway bar. This silver cabriolet was already standing strong on some 19 inch wheels. So to give it a better handling ride and look, KW V3 was the answer. The KW V3 coilovers are the same as what we run on our Project 997TT. They feature adjustable ride height where you can drop the car as low as 2 inches from stock. Each coilover has independent adjustable rebound and compression so you can fine tune the coilover. Similar to a motocross bike, rebound is how fast the shock “bucks” back, where compression is how quickly or slowly the shock absorber compresses. The KW V3 also has a unique bearing design which allows the spring perch to rotate at the bottom of of the spring instead of the top like on the OEM strut.
