The Project Car blog and stories is something we started back in 2002 to share what was our first Subaru WRX. We have evolved over the past 14 years to show off some of the most recognized vehicles in this niche tuner market. Where we recognize the importance of our diverse demographic of customers at Vivid Racing, sometimes we like to play on the extreme side. One year we might have a Scion FR-S, a Porsche 911, a Focus ST, a McLaren… and now, we have this. The ultra rare limited edition Lamborghini LP560-4 Bianco Rosso. The Lamborghini Bianco Rosso features a combination of red and white paint finishes as a tribute to the Japanese flag. Why might you ask since we are in America and the Italian translation simply means, “White Red”? It was done as a limited edition to celebrate 45 years of importing Lamborghini to Japan and 10 years of Lamborghini Japan. It was limited to just 10 units in Japan. North America received in total around 50 units making this a very rare model.
Inside the car is a beautiful combination of red leather and black alcantara with other highlights such as red stitching. Lamborghini technology is pretty on point being part of the Volkswagen Audi Group (VAG). It gives you a true cockpit feeling with very well integrated navigation and other connected features. Being an E-Gear, the driving experience is pure joy with the option to bang through the gears using the paddle shifters like a true F1 car. The LP560-4 features a 552 horsepower V10 engine that at 8000 rpm screams like hell. Making nearly 400 ft/lbs of torque is plenty to get you from 0-62mph in 4.0 seconds with all wheel drive. Along with its high gloss black Cordelia wheels, red mirrors, and red brake calipers, the overall appearance is stunning. The vehicle went on sale in 2012 for just over $300,000 USD.
So whats on deck for this car as part of our Project Car series? In a dream world, a VF Engineering Supercharger would make this insane. But so far we plan to upgrade the front bumper with a Vorsteiner kit, change out the wheels, and add a new exhaust system. For now, enjoy these stunning vehicle photos we have! View all photos here.
