Unique Combination that Handles Whatever is Thrown at it
Working in the aftermarket automotive industry, we get the privilege of seeing some very unique vehicles. Even though subaru’s are known for their AWD and awesome handling properties, this particular one has taken it to the next level. It is very common to see WRX’s and STI’s lowered or slammed to the pavement, but not often lifted… This is exactly what the owner of this 2016 Subaru forster was out to accomplish.
The Forester is equipped with a 6 speed manual transmission and a plethora of suspension work. To lift the vehicle, King springs and primitive shocks allowed for increased clearance over the factory parts. In order to keep the rear end solid, a set of subframe spacers were used to get an extra body lift. With a lift kit you generally need new wheels and tires to fill up the gap and to take advantage of the added body height. A set of Method Racing wheels were installed to not only push the track width out, but to accommodate some meaty tires.
