The integrated power management system measures input voltage to determine if the light can run at full power or needs to draw less power to help stabilize the vehicle’s voltage levels. This is especially important for vehicles which have a lot of different electronics. If the LED light bar doesn’t decrease power output, the total voltage can drop low enough to shut off other electronics entirely, which can be very dangerous in some situations.
The Active View Technology uses an internal GPS module to change the beam pattern of the light on the fly. The three separate zones on the LED light bar are designed for specific speeds. The faster you drive, the more light is projected far out ahead of the vehicle. At low speeds, the outer flood light zones illuminate as much of the trail as possible.
