The following systems and accessories are available for pre-order for the BMW M2 (F87). These are available in limited quantity. The titanium Akrapovic Evolution Line exhaust system includes the link pipes and carbon fiber tips. The exhaust is constructed from an ultra-lightweight high-grade titanium alloy, which offers a beautiful look and finish to this stylish system. It also increases the M2’s power-to-weight ratio and handling characteristics. Final power increases and weight savings will be released shortly.
Pre-orders are managed on a first-come, first-serve basis with priority given to those with deposits on initial shipment units (scheduled to arrive July-August 2016).
Note: The Evolution Line system for the BMW M2 (ME-BM/T/8H) is CARB compliant.
Akrapovic Accessories for the BMW M2
In addition to the newly released Evolution Line system, accessory carbon fiber components for the BMW M2 are also being offered for pre-order.
Carbon Fiber Mirror Cap Set
For the first time, Akrapovic will offer carbon fiber mirror cap sets exclusively for the BMW M2. The cap sets are available in either a high gloss or matte finish.
Carbon Fiber Diffuser
Elegantly designed by hand, these carbon fiber diffusers will be available in a high gloss or matte finish.
Exhaust Downpipes (Stainless Steel)
Akrapovic downpipes, both with catalytic converters and without, for the BMW M2 are not CARB-compliant. More information will be available soon.
Akrapovic Sound Kit
The optional Akrapovic Sound Kit enables owners of Akrapovic car exhausts to control the sound of the system from the cockpit of their machine. Using Akrapovic technology, drivers can easily switch between the quiet mode and a sportier sound. With the use of a receiver to drive the actuators that open or close the valves within the exhaust system, drivers can use the Sound Remote Controller or the new smartphone app (for iOS and Android) to regulate the valves.
Note: This Akrapovic Evolution Line system is different than the M Performance exhaust option provided by BMW. The M Performance exhaust option for the BMW M2 is not produced by Akrapovic.
