As you may or may not know, our Project Tundra has used a Magnuson supercharger for quite a while with nothing but success. Thousands of Tundra owners all over the world use Magnuson’s supercharger kit, but up until this point, the software wasn’t compatible with the 2018+ models. Luckily, Magnuson was aware of this issue and has been working hard to develop the correct software for the 2018+ models.
Aside from the new software, the rest of the supercharger kit is the same as it was before. The kit includes everything you need for a full install, including the needed calibration and handheld device. Once installed, the supercharger outputs 7psi of boost which increases power to 550hp and 550lb-ft on a stock Tundra. With bolt-on modifications, this power number can be increased.
At the heart of the Magnuson supercharger kit is an Eaton TVS1900 supercharger unit. The supercharger replaces the entire OEM intake manifold and can be installed in about a day. Overall, it’s a great way to increase power and provides tons of low-end torque and top-end power.
