Not a huge amount of enthusiasts realize just how tuner friendly Mercedes’ engines can be. When you think of performance, you probably don’t think of the CLS550 4Matic, one of Mercedes’ largest cars. One of our recent customers, however, showed us how much performance was gained after they came in for a simple ECU Flash from VRTuned.
Before our customer received his VRTune, he was running around a 13 second 1/4 mile which is pretty respectable for such a large car. After the ECU flash, they ran a 12.205 second 1/4 mile at 155.3mph! To put that in perspective: that’s faster than the average Mustang or Camaro.
