Our customer Fred L. recently purchased a set of RECARO Specialist M seats for his beautiful yellow Meyers Manx dune buggy. The reason you may not have heard much lately about the Meyers Manx is because it is a bit uncommon. This dune buggy is essentially a small recreationally-oriented vehicle, which was initially designed for desert racing by Bruce F. Meyers. This car was manufactured by B.F. Meyers & Co. from 1964 to 1971, in the form of a car kit that was applied to a shortened Volkswagen Beetle chassis. The newer models of this vehicle were inspired by the original Manx buggy, but produced by Meyer’s re-founded company called Meyers Manx, Inc. He opted for the Specialist M seats with black leather bolster material and black suede insert material with a yellow logo.
