As previous Ford Focus ST owners and supportors of the Focus ST community, we were very excited to see this sneak peak video from Ford of Europe. Rumors of this coming to the states are very true, so here is the first look at what the new Focus RS will bring to you! The Focus RS is getting a brand-new, performance-oriented AWD system that should skew toward a 50/50 front-to-rear torque bias rather than the front-drive-oriented system currently available on Escapes and the like. This system will eventually make its way into other Ford and Lincoln products, as well. The Focus RS will get a high-output 2.3-liter EcoBoost that we’re hearing could exceed the output of the EcoBoost Mustang, which has 310 horsepower, with something like 325 ponies.
