Each aFe Control sway bar is CAD designed and CNC bent to strict tolerances. This ensures a perfect fit and seamless operation. The front and rear sway bar for the Volkswagen GTI are two-way adjustable. You can either purchase them separately or together as a complete set. These sway bars allow you to dial in both the front and rear roll resistance in order to achieve your desired handling bias. The front sway bar uses CNC-machined ends while the rear is equipped with laser-cut arms. These are welded to the bar in a dedicated fixture to guarantee accurate hole positioning and consistent manufacturing.
aFe Control end links use PTFE-lined Aurora rod ends with high-articulating studs and misalignment spacer.s These are also length adjustable if you want to fine-tune any static pre-load in the rear bar. aFe Control sway bars include low-deflection polyurethane bushings and high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum black anodized billet brackets for the rear. Brackets are also equipped with grease fittings for convenient maintenance.
