aFe Power has just announced the availability of its Magnum FORCE Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System for BMW E8X and E9X 3-Series models. This includes the 2008-2012 BMW 128i (E82/E88) and the 2006-2013 BMW 3-Series (E90/91/92/93) models equipped with the N52 L6-3.0L engine. The Magnum FORCE Stage-2 Cold Air Intake is an open-element system that houses a large air filter and produces a more assertive engine tone than other intake designs. The open design also makes inspecting and servicing the air filter much easier, while simultaneously adding a bolder look to your engine bay. The Magnum FORCE comes with a 7” tall 360-degree radial air flow filter that features a 4” round flange and either the aFe oiled Pro 5R media or oil-free Pro DRY S media. The former is best suited for street and light off-road use, while the latter is more catered toward street and/or track use.

The Magnum FORCE unique one-piece housing is crafted from cross-link polyethylene (XLPE) polymer that blocks engine heat to deliver maximum performance. Many Stage-2 intake kits also feature a trim seal to provide a seal between the intake and vehicle to further help protect against performance-robbing heat. Dyno testing throughout the design process has allowed aFe Power to optimize the intake tube by creating the least restrictive airflow path possible, thus delivering the maximum performance gains. Lastly, each Magnum FORCE intake is computer designed per specific application to guarantee a perfect fit under the hood every time.
