These AutoTecknic Dry Carbon Battle Version Shift Paddles are made from 100 percent dry carbon fiber composite material and fused with aluminum connectors. By using this particular production method, AutoTecknic was able to significantly reduce the weight of the carbon fiber paddles. Through the revision of its Version 2 paddles, the final product comes out much lighter than its predecessor. To be exact, it’s approximately 90 grams for the V1, but only 35 grams for V2. This equates to approximately a 40 percent weight reduction, providing a true race-inspired feel in the cockpit of the BMW M Series.
What’s more, the AutoTecknic Battle Version Shift Paddles are designed to be 40 percent bigger than the OEM BMW ones for more comfort and ease of use. On top of that, the shape of the paddles is perfectly matched to the exact contours of the BMW steering wheel, to deliver the best feedback possible and perfect shifts every single time!
