If you want more power from your turbocharged vehicle, you need to improve the amount of air being forced in the engine or improve the flow of the air entering the engine. Since turbochargers are driven by exhaust gas, improving exhaust flow will result in the turbos spinning up faster and reaching higher speeds, resulting in less turbocharger lag and higher boost levels. This is where AWE comes in with their new EcoBoost Raptor exhaust. Unlike other exhaust systems on the market, this exhaust is fully modular, allowing you to pick-and-choose what parts you want.
There are three different configurations that AWE will offer. The first, 2FG, replaces the factory mid-mufflers with a 3” H-pipe and 3” over-axle turbo. This is a great way to add sound to shave 23 lbs off your Raptor. The second configuration, 1FG, includes 2FG plus a new front section with two bespoke AWE mufflers. The third configuration, 0FG, includes 1FG plus the rear section with 5” tips. 0FG offers great sound, power, and a 41lb weight savings compared to the stock exhaust.
