The B9 S4 is arguably the best S4 ever made with its powerful turbocharged V6 engine, excellent chassis, and sharp design. Outputting 354 horsepower, many people would consider it plenty fast for road use, but it’s very easy to get used to how much power your car makes and then want more power to keep things interesting. The turbocharged nature of the EA839 engine under the hood means that getting more power from it is super easy.
The Audi B9 S4/S5 Eventuri intake was developed to give less restrictive airflow to the turbo while maintaining low inlet temperatures. The S5/S4 engine bay becomes heat soaked very quickly so simply having an open cone system would result in better airflow but with higher inlet temperatures. Eventuri’s intake is different than other aftermarket intakes because it’s designed to pull lots of cold air from the grill with a sealed system. This means the intake will be pulling in lots of cold air, instead of the hot air surrounding it under the hood, which ultimately means more power!
