The GTIII Turbine is a new generation of turbo combining MHI brand CHRA with HKS original housings designed from the extensive know-how HKS has accumulated over the years. The HKS vehicle-specific housings boast an optimal design that minimizes surging and is constructed with domestic-made casts machined and finished within HKS’ own facilities. 

This turbine kit features a renowned, high-efficiency MHI CHRA center cartridge. Recent standards in fuel efficiency and emissions control have accelerated the development of turbo technology and have been adapted for tuning purposes. The result is a high-efficiency unit with a high boost at low airflow ranges. The combination of the ultimate turbine blades and optimal housing creates an incredibly versatile turbo. Normally high-output, high-response turbos tend to suffer from surging, but not this one.

The new HKS GTIII-RS (A/R 0.60) with the downsized exhaust housing helps your exhaust flow more smoothly compared to the existing GTIII-RS (A/R 0.80) for the SR20 engine. It can hold the peak power output more than 350p as well as the improved efficiency at the low to middle rpm range. HKS recommends using this product not only for race driving but also street driving, because of the improved acceleration response even at the 3,000 rpm to 5,000 rpm range.

Note: The HKS A/R 0.60 turbo housing is newly available for separate purchasing for users that already have the existing GTIII-RS.
