Frame Support: It fits flexibly to the aluminum backplate and securely fixes to the hyper stealth frame. It also serves as a guide for attaching the filter to the hemispherical surface, improving maintainability such as filter replacement.
Super Inner Frame: The cross-section of the inner frame is streamlined with 16 frames parabolically placed towards the center. The simple and lightweight frame design provides smoother airflow for optimal performance benefits.
Super Lip Funnel: The defining feature of HKS Racing Suction intake is its “Super Lip Funnel”. The Super Lip Funnel maximizes the air intake surface area in the limited space in the engine bay and optimizes air intake efficiency.
Filter Element: The HKS Racing Suction Kit adopts a wet two-layer type filter system. The filter element is a wet 2-layer polyurethane form impregnated with a special high-viscosity adhesive. Filter porosity is designed as large as possible to provide high air intake flow efficiency without sacrificing filtration ability. (A dry type three-layer type exchange filter can also be used.)
Stealth Frame Redesigned: The HKS Hyper Stealth Frame exceeds the performance of the previous Super Stealth Frame. Increasing the air intake surface area by 27 percent also improves overall air intake efficiency.
Bold, Durable Design: A bold white HKS logo is printed on a black anodized backplate, accentuating the Civic’s engine bay. The outer edge of the funnel is securely fixed to the aluminum backplate. The use of aluminum is proven to significantly improve rigidity and durability. The alumite process improves the surface of the funnel and also provides a sleek black look.
Technology: The HKS Racing Suction Kit for the 10th-Gen Honda Civic Si features a vehicle-specific suction pipe design. The angle and length of the pipe enhance the induction efficiency. What’s more, it is effective for quick responses for NA engines and higher performance for turbocharged engines.
Better than Stock: With the stock suction system, induction air hits to a corrugated portion of the hose and makes swirl and resistance. The specially designed pipe in this system reduces the corrugated portion and gap inside the pipe to smoothen the airflow.
