These new KW V4 Coilovers feature independently adjustable three-way dampers, allowing you to fine-tune how your M5 handles on and off the track. The coilover suspension, made of aluminum, has a ride height adjustment range of 10 to 30 millimeters on both axles. The body of the coilover is made from aluminum, preventing it from rusting over time as cheaper coilovers do, plus the aluminum makes them quite a bit lighter. Something many cheaper coilovers don’t offer is a way to disable the OEM electronic damper control. Without a canceller for the electronic dampers, the car will throw codes and lights on the dash will pop up, which you don’t want on your new expensive M5.
