2021+ Acura TLX 2.0T Replacement Panel Air Filter Upgrade
PRL’s oiled filters use double-layer woven cotton with deep, dense pleats to increase the filtration surface by 10 to 15 percent. This promotes a much greater volume of air into the combustion chamber while also maintaining unmatched filtration. This specially designed cotton filter can trap particles as small as 5 microns! Each filter is made using a four-step, low-pressure injection molding process to bond the flexible rubber base to the interior parts. This eliminates rubber seepage for maximum airflow and aesthetics, unlike other processes that can block airflow up to 25 percent.
Each filter is also encased with stainless steel mesh to resist dents and is proven to withstand even the toughest of conditions. The lightweight filter lubricant used is vehicle sensor-friendly and creates a positive magnetic charge, or ionic bond, with the filter’s stainless steel mesh. This positive charge attracts negatively-charged dust particles from entering the filter, causing them to stick to the mesh, which allows the cotton to remain clear for maximum airflow.
