The Volkswagen GTI is an icon in the world of hot hatches. It’s considered the car that started the whole sporty hatchback craze, and although previous versions were somewhat weak, the MK7 GTI is arguably the best GTI yet. Straight from the factory the MK7 only outputs 220 to 230 horsepower, but the EA888 engine under the hood is known for being very potent. With a couple of bolt-on parts and a tune, the MK7 GTI is known for slaying much more expensive cars. Agency Power already offers shifter paddles and a key fob case for the MK7 GTI, and now they’re offering their new catback exhaust!
This new exhaust is designed as a direct OEM replacement, meaning easy installation and no custom work required. Piping diameter is increased to a whopping 3” (2.25” in some sections) to improve flow. With improved flow, the turbocharger can spin more freely, resulting in more power and improved throttle response. On top of that, this new Agency Power exhaust is 14 lbs lighter than the OEM exhaust! Using just two small resonators, the exhaust sound is much louder than stock, but still very street friendly and won’t piss off your neighbors.
