New Product: Agency Power Kia Stinger GT Intercooler

The Kia Stinger GT represents a significant change for the Kia brand. It’s been massively popular for its impressive performance and reasonable price point. At just 365 horsepower, it’s a little underpowered compared to its competitors, especially the BMW M3. Luckily, getting more power from the 3.3L twin-turbo engine under the hood is easy. There are lots of good aftermarket intake and exhaust options, but without a good intercooler, you leave performance on the table. This is where Agency Power comes in with their new Stinger GT intercooler upgrade.

The compressed air coming from the turbocharger is very hot. Hot air is less oxygen dense and is more likely to cause detonation. The job of the intercooler is to cool the compressed air before it enters the engine. They build everything to a cost, and the OEM Stinger GT intercooler is no different. The stock intercooler is good enough to get the job done, but it leaves a lot to be desired, especially for a tuned Stinger GT. Agency Power’s new intercooler is significantly larger and more efficient, reducing charge air temperatures greatly and improving performance.

No one likes an unnecessarily complicated install. Agency Power designed their new intercooler as a full bolt-on, direct OEM replacement. No cutting or custom work required for install. The aluminum end tanks are much stronger and flow significantly more than the OEM plastic end tanks. For those who want a super stealthy look, Agency Power offers their intercooler upgrade in a black finish. The lower charge air temperature will reduce the chance of detonation, improving the life of your engine. Plus, lower change air temperatures allow for a more aggressive tune.

  • High flow design
  • Much larger than stock
  • Reduced charge air temperatures
  • Designed as direct OEM replacement
  • Available in Silver or Black
