The newest additions to the Vivid Racing online catalog include BMC Air Filters, HAWK break pads, Cusco accessories, MagnaFlow exhausts, StopTech Brake kits, Perrin performance products and Lamin-X headlight covers.
A product that we have not blogged about too much is the Lamin-X headlight, fog light and brake light covers. Typically, the light housings on your car start to chip, yellow and oxidize due to road debris and sunlight exposure. Lamin-X protective film prevents all of this with a clear overlay or in any number of styles such as smoke, tinted, tuner yellow or blue.
MagnaFlow may be more tied to domestic muscle cars, but they also have a line of products for today’s tuners. Their newest release is for the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S. The stainless cat back system consists of 2.5″ mandrel bent pipes and MagnaFlow designed muffler. The exhaust will bolt directly to the remaining OEM system or onto any OEM like aftermarket pieces.
While you have the FR-S/BRZ under the knife, maybe it is already time to change to a performance brake pad. HAWK has released the HPS brake pads for the front and rear of the Subaru/Scion collaboration. Ensure your car stops quicker and with a better pedal feel with the HAWK HPS brake pads.
Cusco has been very busy releasing parts for the FR-S/BRZ. The newest products ready for install are the throttle controller and spin turn knobs. The controller allows your to modify the signal of your throttle input to be more sporty or to conserve on fuel. And if you are locked into the sport mode, grabbing that e-brake became that much easier. The Cusco spin turn knob ensures the e-brake doesn’t lock up when pulled yet still allows it to function as normal.
StopTech wanted to give the FR-S and BRZ owners the opportunity to run a true big brake system. So they have developed a front couple kits include the massive 14″ front kit with 4 piston caliper and the 13.5″ rear with 2 piston caliper. When paired together, your car will stop faster and maintain breaking capabilities well into your track session.
Perrin has also stepped into the FR-S and BRZ world with a slew of products. These include a light weight crank pulley, battery tie down bar, shift knob, shorty antenna, rear sway bar, flat panel filter and dual tip Cat-Back exhaust.
