With Honda entering the UTV market with their new Talon, a lot of enthusiasts are excited to see how it will stack up with other UTVs such as the RZR or X3. Like other UTVs, the Talon is missing some rather basic features which add functionality and safety.
The big things the Talon is missing are turn signals and a horn. In many places where UTVs can be made street legal, these two items are needed to gain street legal status. Even without the benefits of being street legal, the addition of turn signals and a horn adds a lot of safety to the vehicle.
XTC’s new turn signal kit includes all the wiring needed, switches and more. The new turn signal kit is a self cancelling system, which activates the blinker for a short duration for lane switching. For a right or left turn, a prolonged press of the turn signal button will yield a longer blinker duration.
The horn is much like an OEM-style horn, and XTC includes everything you need for an easy install. The turn signal kit and horn can be bought as one kit or as separate parts if needed.
Aside from the turn signal kit, XTC is also offering a handful of new parts which add even more functionality to the Talon. These parts include an auxiliary power Y-splitter, power out for license plate, accessory block, tail light power out, a center console switch plate, and a driver side switch plate.
