HJS HD 200 cell catalysts are the highest-quality catalytic converters available, known for their industry-leading flow and durability. Boasting a premium wash coat full of precious metals, these catalysts are efficient enough at catalyzing to meet stringent EURO 4 emission standards while still allowing for increases in flow. 

The HD design uses a stout triple foil winding for maximum strength. The brazing stripe is an additional feature that prevents the core from moving or experiencing any damage from sustained high horsepower abuse. SPP utilizes a large and appropriately sized catalyst to allow for the maximum gains. In fact, they are the same cats tested and proven on the company’s McLaren and Porsche Turbo applications for big horsepower support.

Each set of Soul Performance’s C8 Corvette Sport Catalytic Converters is assembled in-house right here in the USA from mandrel-bent, thick wall .065″ T304L stainless steel. The back purged TIG welding ensures proper weld penetration and longevity for optimal performance. As a result of the catalytic converters’ close proximity to sensitive components, heat protection is a must with the Corvette C8. That’s why Soul Performance Products teamed up with PTP Turbo Blankets to develop a bespoke, form-fitting heat shielding solution able to withstand 2300°F!

PTP Lava Turbo Blankets are far superior to no-name brand copies. They are constructed with an outer layer made from pulverized volcanic lava rock (Rated 1800°F Direct Heat / 2500°F Radiant Heat) formed into fabric and woven into a tight mesh weave. These blankets are internally insulated with high-temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool (Rated 1832°F Continuous / 2300°F Peak) overlaid with a high-temperature stainless steel mesh for added durability and better thermal resistance. The PTP Lava Blankets are expertly designed to withstand even the harshest of conditions, so you can rest assured that it will perform incredible well on your C8 Corvette.

Soul Performance fabricates these sport cats using thick-gauge aluminum fixtures which act as a generous heat sink during the welding process. This helps to prevent warping not only of the products, but also the fixtures themselves in order to ensure a precise fit every time. 

Third-party testing of this product was performed on a Dynojet Dyno at Dynosty. Baseline power with the C8 factory exhaust was 453 wheel horsepower and 427 pound-feet of torque. The addition of Soul Performance’s Sport Catalytic Converters pushed power to 470 wheel horsepower and 447 pound-feet of torque for peak gains of 17 wheel horsepower and 20 pound-feet of torque!
