If you are a track enthusiast, you are going to enjoy SPP’s new Race Exhaust for Porsche. Soul Performance redesigned the entire exhaust aft of the headers for maximum flow and performance benefits. The factory dual exit/entry flanges connecting the over axle pipes to the PSE muffler limits the piping diameter to 2.25 inches. However, the Soul Race Exhaust has been optimized into a single 2.5-inch flow path on either side with accommodation to mount OE-style tips.
Great attention to detail was paid with regard to hard usage on both the street and track. The longer piping routing helps smooth out the exhaust note, while the slight bending of the X gives your Porsche a higher-pitched sound that is reminiscent of the previous 981 generations that so many have come to know and admire. Additionally, durable race resonators deliver a more refined tone to the aggressive exhaust note while slightly reducing drone. A non-resonated version is also available should you choose to go for maximum weight reduction and sound.
Each Race Exhaust is assembled in-house at Soul Performance’s Willow Grove, PA facility and carefully crafted from mandrel-bent, thick wall .065″ T304L stainless steel. Back-purged TIG welding (with ARCALO Prime argon gas) helps to ensure proper weld penetration and guarantee longevity. Water jet cut flanges are made to ISO 9001:2015 standards with tolerances of +/- 0.003 inches for the utmost precision.
Soul Performance fabricates its exhaust systems from thick gauge aluminum fixtures, which act as a great heat sink throughout the welding process and help prevent warping of both the products and fixtures themselves in order to ensure a perfect fit every time. Every individual component of the exhaust system undergoes rigorous quality checks and is thoroughly tested in a fixture to make sure it fits like a glove. All new high-grade hardware and four OEM Porsche gaskets are included for the installation.
