Novitec is pleased to announce three different performance upgrades for the 3.8-liter twin-turbo eight-cylinder engine with up to 711 horsepower (523 kW) at 7,400 RPM and 524 pound-feet of torque (710 Nm). To put that in perspective, the McLaren 620R’ stock output is 611 horsepower (456 kW) and 457 pound-feet of torque (620 Nm). With Novitec’s enhancements, the powerful mid-engine car can go from rest to 60 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 mph (328 km/h).
The Novitec power lineup for the McLaren 620R includes an N-Tronic ECU module, Power Stage Kits, exhaust systems, tailpipes, catalyst sets, and more! The Novitec high-performance exhaust system is not only essential for optimized power delivery and sporty exhaust tone, but it also provides additional weight reductions in the lightweight INCONEL alloy version (used in Formula 1 racing). The alternative version is a stainless-steel racing exhaust system. The tuner also offers lighter catalytic converters that can be installed in addition. The available tailpipes, in polished and black variants, are slanted to match the back-end profile and modify the view from the rear as well.
The Novitec performance kits below not only impress with elevated performance on the road, but with an even better and more instantaneous throttle response. They also provide gutsier power delivery across the McLaren 620R’s entire rev range, which translates into even more driving fun on both the racetrack and the road. The key features of the Novitec RACE high-performance exhaust system for the McLaren 620R are improved performance paired with the perfect sporty exhaust note. Furthermore, to lower the temperatures in the engine bay, these sport exhaust systems are fully thermal insulated.
