There are a lot of enthusiasts out there who hate the idea of having a twin turbo V6 in a truck instead of a V8. When comparing the stock 5.0L Coyote to the stock EcoBoost F150, however, the winner is pretty clear. The EcoBoost makes more torque in the low RPM and more horsepower at the high RPM. With it being a turbocharged engine, it responds great to simple modifications such as a cold air intake. By allowing more air into the engine, more fuel can be added and a larger explosion happens, occurring in more horsepower.
