Can-Am has absolutely been dominating the UTV market with their Maverick X3. The Maverick is almost like a tiny trophy truck that the average Joe can handle with its powerful engine, wide track, low center of gravity, and massive amounts suspension travel. To keep the production cost of the Maverick down, Can-Am couldn’t make every component top notch. One of these components in the rear radius rod set which uses hollow tubes and a non-adjustable design.
Agency Power set out to develop a set of rear radius rods that are not only much stronger but also fully adjustable. Being able to have full control of your camber and toe setting will allow you to fine-tune how your Maverick handles. If you ever get into a pretty bad wreck, the adjustable rods will also help you get your Maverick’s alignment back to normal.
Strength is without a doubt the biggest reason to upgrade your rear radius arms. As we mentioned, the factory rods use a hollow design. This means just bumping into a rock or having a hard landing can bend your radius rods. This is even more of a problem considering there are six of these arms. The Agency Power arms are made of solid 6061 aluminum with QA1 spherical rod ends. The rods feature a flat spot so adjustments can be done using proper tools, and each rod end has opposing threads making it even easier to adjust your alignment on the fly.
A lot of Maverick X3 owners like to go hard out in the dunes or on desert trails. It’s only a matter of time before you end up bending the factory radius rods. For the money, the Agency Power kit is pretty hard to beat and can save you from a lot of headaches down the road.
