While the Audi RS3 and TT RS both offer superb performance and outrun basically every vehicle in their class, there is always room for improvement. Similar to turbocharged 4-cylinder engines, Audi’s five-cylinder 2.5L turbocharged engine responds very well to basic modifications, such as a cold air intake system.
AWE is one of the best-known names in the Audi/VW tuning aftermarket, and their new S-FLO carbon fiber intake suite for the 8V RS3 and MK3 TT RS is the perfect way to increase performance without breaking the bank. Their new suite of intake product includes the S-FLO intake tube, shortie intake, open intake, and closed intake.
Each product features a carbon fiber intake tube, which is very thermally efficient and helps reduce intake air temperatures. With a massive 4.5” diameter, AWE’s intake tube is significantly larger than any other intake system for the RS3 and TT RS. The large tube diameter combined with a large high-flow air filter results in a large increase in airflow to the turbocharger.
Thanks to the large increase in total airflow, you can expect maximum gains of 17hp and 7lb-ft (Closed intake with Stage 1+ software). For the best performance possible, the closed intake system features a full carbon fiber intake box to ensure the filter doesn’t suck in hot air from within the engine bay.
