One of the problems every off-road vehicle faces is finding a happy medium between ride height and tire size. Bigger tires effectively make bumps smaller, but you need to increase ride height to fit larger tires. At a certain point, the increased ride height begins to hurt off-road and on-road performance. The better way to fit larger tires is by making room in the fender wells.
One of the most common modifications for JK Wranglers is aftermarket fenders which allow for larger tires. Not too surprisingly, this is also becoming a very popular modification for the new JL Wrangler. Fishbone Offroad’s new JL Wrangler fenders are the perfect solution for anyone who wants a sleek fender with an integrated turn signal.
Available in either steel or aluminum, these new fenders are very strong. They’re finished in a textured black powder coat to help protect them from the elements. The integrated switchback LED turn signals plug in and work perfectly with your OEM turn signal electronics. The front fenders work with the JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator, but the rear fenders only work with the JL Wrangler.
Thanks to the thinner design, you can run much larger tires with the Fishbone fenders installed. Fishbone inner fender liners are recommended with installation.
