Enkei wheels are extremely popular in the JDM community, but their wheels are typically only available in a few colors. Anytime you see RFP1 wheels, for example, they’re almost always grey. In Japan, however, there have been custom colors available. In the past, if you wanted to change the colors of your Enkei wheels you needed to have them powder coated after the initial purchase which is time and money consuming. Plus, powder coated the wheel requires heating the wheel to a temperature that can compromise the construction material.
Thanks to the massive sales of Enkei factory painted Japan-only colors in the US in 2017, these colors will be available in 2018! The wheel Japan-only colored wheels we have in stock are NT03-M and RFP 1 which are available in Emerald Blue, Purple, Magenta, and Orange. Just like other Enkei wheels, these ones are tested to Enkei’s “Spec-E” standards which are much more rigorous than the industry JWL standards.
